Pronunciation and definition data comes from CEDICT. Traditional and simplified versions of CEDICT were mined to produce a single file, keyed by character unicodes in hex, with mappings between simplified and traditional characters. Since this is intended to be a character dictionary, only CEDICT data for individual characters is used. Please see CEDICT's license, included in its readme.
